 Salon Policies

Referrals:

I want to meet all of your friends, family and all the random people who compliment your hair on the street! For every new client you send to me, I will give you a $30 Referral Gift Certificate toward your next service with me. There is no limit to how many gift certificates you can receive. Please note Referral Gift Certificates are valid on salon services of $60 or more.

Leave Some Love:

Want a free conditioning treatment with your next service? Just show me some love on facebook with me by leaving a review or shoutout. You can also tag me in a selfie or do a check in on facebook. I will treat your tresses to a luxury treatment.

 

Punctuality:

I strive to always be on time for my guests. If I am running significantly behind I will make every effort to contact you prior to your appointment time. The only way I can ensure my punctuality is if each guest in my salon arrives on time for their appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late I may refuse service or alter services so that it doesn’t effect the rest of my scheduled appointments.

Cancellation:

You and your appointment are very important to Moss & Black Salon. We hold your appointment just for you and ask if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, that you kindly provide us at least 24-hour notice. This way we will be able to adjust schedules accordingly and accommodate other clients that are on the waitlist. Cancellations without 24-hour notice will incur a $50 charge, and No Call No Show appointments will incur $50 or 50% of scheduled service, whichever is higher.  This will be required to be paid prior to booking your next appointment.

 

We reserve the right to not allow re-bookings on no shows. We may require a Non- Refundable deposit to secure future appointments after a non comply with salon policies. As a courtesy to you, we confirm the date and time at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment. This confirmation comes to you via text and email that you provided the salon. You are always welcome to call or text and double check any appointment you have if you are unsure. Please note you may get a response by text back to confirm. 

Returns:

If you aren’t happy with a product purchased you may return it within 10 days for a full refund. Returns are not accepted on empty or almost empty products. Tools can be returned within one week of purchase.

 

Re Dos:

We pride ourselves on doing a thorough consultation prior to each service to ensure 100% happiness. But we realize that sometimes once you get home you may find something you would like to adjust. Please contact us within 7 days for hair appointment and 3 days for nail/brow/lash appointments.  We are happy to make those adjustments within two weeks of receiving hair service and 7 days on spa service. For a nail service, the same color will be used.  We cannot provide refunds on services.

Privacy:

We collect emails via our website, new client forms, and in person. By providing your email you may be provided certain discounts or promotions, and you will be subscribed to our email newsletter. Your email is also used to confirm in salon appointments. Our email list will NEVER be shared or sold to an individual or company for any reason.

 

You may request to have your email removed from our list at anytime, however you will no longer receive appointment confirmations and you still must abide by our punctuality and cancellation policy (detailed above). If you would like to know how we received your email address I will provide that information within 30 days.
